Severstal’s Cherepovets’ October HR flats deliveries to rise 4% from September

Russian steelmaker Severstal has announced that in October this year its Cherepovets Steel Mill aims to increase its hot rolled flat steel shipments by four percent compared to September to around 415,000-419,000 mt, including 160,000-162,000 mt for export and 255,000-257,000 mt for the domestic market.

In the January-September period of this year, Cherepovets Steel Mill shipped about 3.9 million mt of hot rolled flat steel, down three percent year on year, including 1.6 million mt for export and 2.3 million mt to the domestic market.
