SDI starts production at new coil coating line supplied by Fata Hunter

Italian plantmaker Danieli has announced that US-based steel producer Steel Dynamics Inc. (SDI) has produced the first coated coil at its new double-coat continuous coil coating line in its Mississippi facility, supplied by Danieli’s subsidiary Fata Hunter, Inc.
 
The line will process cold rolled, galvanized, pickled hot band and galvalume steel coils. Meanwhile, the new oven system of the line will maximize productivity and minimize the operating cost of the line and also minimize the environmental impact of the line.
