Samuel completes Doral Steel acquisition

Ontario-based Canadian metals manufacturer and distributor Samuel, Son & Co. Limited has announced that it has completed the acquisition of US-based flat rolled steel distributor Doral Steel.
 
Doral Steel will operate as an independent business division of Samuel, Son & Co., while Cam Smith Jr. will continue to act as president of Doral Steel.
 
According to Samuel's statement, with the acquisition of Doral Steel, the company will be able to provide additional processing capacity of aluminum and stainless products from its current locations from Pennsylvania to Georgia and into the Midwest. Doral Steel has a location in Toledo, Ohio and another in Clinton, Tennessee.
