Russia’s stainless flat steel imports in September this year increased by 44.3 percent month on month to 20,037 mt, according to Russia-based SpetsStal Association. In particular, in September hot rolled stainless flat steel imports increased by 29.2 percent to 4,681 mt, and cold rolled flat steel imports rose by 49.7 percent to 15,356 mt, both compared to August.
According to previously reported data of SpetsStal, stainless steel imports to Russia amounted to 21,029 mt in June, 21,509 mt in July, and 19,013 mt in August this year.
