Russia's Ministry of Industry and Trade (Minpromtorg) has proposed to the Russian government the imposition of antidumping (AD) duties on imports of nickel-based flat rolled stainless steel products from China (including Taiwan), South Korea, Brazil and South Africa for a period of five years, instead of the current three years.

The antidumping duties would impact imports of nickel-based stainless steel flat products under the following HS Codes: 7219 11 000 0, 7219 21 100 9, 7219 22 100 9, 7219 23 000 9, 7219 24 000 9, 7219 32 100 9, 7219 33 100 9, 7219 34 100 9, 7219 35 100 0, 7219 90 800 9, 7220 11 000 9, 7220 12 000 0, 7220 20 210 0, 7220 20 410 0, 7220 20 810 0 and 7220 90 800 0.
As SteelOrbis previously reported, on November 26 this year, by its decision No. 929, the Russian government imposed AD duty on imports of these products from the countries in question for a period of three years.
