Russia’s Guryevsk Metallurgical Works expands product range

Russian steelmaker Guryevsk Metallurgical Works (GMZ) has announced that it has developed the production of hot rolled angles of 90 mm x 90 mm x 9 mm size, for which there is demand in the construction steel market. 

The first trial batch of the new product amounted to a volume of 400 mt. GMZ will be able to produce between 3,000 and 5,000 mt of this size angles per month.

Currently, GMZ produces 18 types of construction hot rolled angles of GOST 8509-93 with cutting length from 6 m to 11.7 m.
