Russia’s Ashinskiy sees steel output rise 12 percent in January-September

According to results for the January-September period of the current year, Russian steelmaker Ashinskiy Metallurgical Works produced 588,000 mt of steel in the given period, showing a 12.3 percent increase compared to the same period of last year. This production figure includes 577,700 mt of slab - up 14.5 percent year on year. During the period in question, Ashinskiy Metallurgical Works produced 472,500 mt of rolled steel - up 4.3 percent compared to January-September 2010.
