According to the information issued by the Ukrainian Ministry of Economy, up to December 1 Ukraine utilized 13.77 percent of its annual quota for rebar exports and 50 percent of its annual quota for cold rolled steel exports to Russia, supplying a total of 15,420 metric tons and 100,000 metric tons respectively.
According to the agreement signed between Russia and Ukraine, the yearly quota for Ukraine regarding rebar is 112,000 metric tons for 2007.
Meanwhile, according to the agreement signed between Russia and Ukraine on June 22, 2007, Russia's yearly quota for Ukraine regarding cold rolled steel is 200,000 metric tons for 2007.
