Russian coal miner Kuzbassrazrezugol issues Jan-May output results

Russian coal mining company Kuzbassrazrezugol has issued its operational results for the first five months of 2010.

Accordingly, in January-May Kuzbassrazrezugol produced 19.43 million mt of coal - up 8.26 percent year on year, including 1.739 million mt of coking coal - up 106.5 percent year on year. In May this year, the company increased its coal production by 10.6 percent month on month to 4.167 million mt, including 377,000 mt of coking coal - up 1.07 percent month on month.

Meanwhile, Kuzbassrazrezugol's coal deliveries in the first five months of this year amounted to about 18.097 million mt - up four percent, including 1.384 million mt of coking coal - up 36.7 percent, while its exports of coal amounted to 9.837 million mt - down 1.12 percent compared to the same period last year.
