Russia ups crude steel and pig iron output in Jan

In January 2007, Russia registered a 2.7 percent increase in its pig iron and ferroalloys production and a 10.1 percent increase in its crude steel production year on year. The respective figures in metric tons were 4.5 million and 6.3 million.
