Rostov Electric Steel Works increases steel billet output

In the first five months of the current year, Russian steelmaker Rostov Electric Steel Works (REMZ) produced 304,700 mt of continuous cast steel billets, against 261,000 mt in the same period of last year. In May alone, REMZ saw a 17.3 percent increase in its continuous cast billet production to 65,800 mt, as compared to May 2010.
