According to data released by metal trading enterprise Ukrainian Mining and Metallurgical Company (UGMK), in the first seven months of the current year deliveries of rolled steel products to the Ukrainian domestic market increased by 25.7 percent year on year to 4.116 million mt.
In July alone, rolled steel product deliveries in Ukraine rose by 18.6 percent compared to July 2010 and increased by 4.8 percent compared to June this year.
In the January-July period of the current year, the share of imports in Ukraine's domestic rolled steel product market was 20.3 percent, against 22.5 percent in the same period of 2010.
