RINL maintains growth in finished steel output in January

Indian state-run steelmaking and mining company Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL), also known as Vizag Steel, has announced that in January this year it produced 242,000 mt of value-added steel, registering its best-ever January production rate.
 
During January, RINL's pig iron output, liquid steel output, finished steel output and power generation increased by two percent, 12 percent, 10 percent and eight percent respectively, compared to January 2013.

RINL produces rebar, wire rod, round bar, beams and special steel grades.
