RINL achieves strong finished steel output in November

Indian state-run steelmaking and mining company Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL), also known as Vizag Steel, has announced that its finished steel output increased by three percent year on year during April-November this year. In November, the company produced 236,838 mt of finished steel, registering its highest monthly production in the current financial year.
 
RINL also stated that during the first nine months of the financial year 2013-14 it increased its turnover to INR 78.19 billion ($1.26 billion). In the given period, its iron and steel, finished steel and special steel sales were higher by 10 percent, 12 percent and 11 percent respectively, all compared to the corresponding period of the previous financial year.
