Raspadskaya posts net loss of $305.86 million for 2014

Raspadskaya Coal Company (Raspadskaya), one of the largest coking coal producers in Russia, has announced its consolidated IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) financial results for 2014.

In the given year, Raspadskaya registered a net loss of $305.864 million, compared to a net loss of $126.156 million in 2013, while its sales revenue decreased by 19 percent year on year to $443.389 million. The company's adjusted EBITDA totaled $43.598 million in 2014, indicating a increase of 55 percent year on year. Its adjusted EBITDA margin, which had been 5.1 percent in 2013, rose to 9.8 percent in 2014.
