Raspadskaya posts net loss of $126 million for 2013

Raspadskaya Coal Company (Raspadskaya), one of the largest coking coal producers in Russia, has announced its consolidated IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) financial results for 2013.

In the given year, Raspadskaya registered a net loss of $126.156 million, compared to a net loss of $29.526 million in 2012, while its sales revenue remained practically unchanged at $545.426 million. The company's adjusted EBITDA totaled $28.1 million in 2013, indicating a decrease of 79 percent year on year. Its adjusted EBITDA margin had been 25 percent in 2012, falling to five percent in 2013.
