According to Italy-based ancillary equipment manufacturer Pomini Tenova, a part of Techint Group, the company has successfully completed in-house testing and shipped its 15th roll grinder to Vietnamese steel producer Hoa Phat Group, marking a key milestone in their ongoing cooperation. The plantmaker stated that the delivery was finalized three months ahead of schedule.

The roll grinder is intended for use by the Vietnamese steel producer Hoa Phat Group as the operator within its HRC2 project. The equipment is expected to arrive in Vietnam in the first half of April.

Pomini Tenova emphasized that the early completion of the shipment demonstrates its ability to meet demanding technical requirements within a compressed timeframe. The company noted that coordinated efforts and technical expertise across its teams played a key role in achieving this outcome.

According to Pomini Tenova, its cooperation with Hoa Phat Group began in 2016 with the supply of the first set of roll grinders for the customer’s cold rolling plant.
