Poltava GOK increases iron ore output in January-June
In the January-June period of the current year, Ukraine's Poltava GOK, a subsidiary of Swiss-headquartered resource company Ferrexpo, increased its production of iron ore by 2.8 percent compared to the same period of last year, to 7.182 million mt. In the given period, the company produced 2.865 million mt of iron ore concentrate, up 1.8 percent compared to January-June 2010, and 2.271 million mt of pellets, down 0.4 percent year on year.
