Panoramic Resources raises nickel ore supply limit for BHP Billiton

On October 19, Panoramic Resources, a Western Australian mining company operating two 100 percent-owned underground nickel sulphide mines and the Lanfranchi Project 42 km south of Kambalda, announced that it has raised its maximum limit of ore supplies to BHP Billiton Nickel West from its Lanfranchi Project from 350,000 mt per year to 470,000 mt for FY 2011-12.
 
The agreement is between BHP Billiton Nickel West and Panoramic Resources' wholly-owned subsidiaries Cherish Metals and Donegal Lanfranchi.
 
The Lanfranchi Project has a contained nickel resource of 158,700 mt and a contained nickel reserve of 55,600 mt for a six-year mine life.
