Outotec to supply iron ore beneficiation plant to Iran

Finnish mining and metal manufacturing equipment provider Outotec has announced that it will design and deliver technology and services for a new iron ore beneficiation plant to Iran-based Khorasan Steel Complex Co. The contract value is €45 million, of which approximately €10 million will be booked in the order intake for the third quarter this year.

The annual capacity of the beneficiation plant will be 2.5 million mt of pellet feed grade iron ore concentrate. The plant is expected to be commissioned in 2017.
