Outotec to expand furnace shutdown services

Finnish mining and metal manufacturing equipment provider Outotec has announced that it has completed the acquisition of a furnace refractory demolition business of Kiln Services Australia Pty Ltd, strengthening its service offerings in the Southeast Asia-Pacific region.
 
According to Outotec's statement, the acquisition of Kiln Services, based on robotic refractory demolition equipment and related know-how, will expand Outotec's furnace shutdown services in the Southeast Asia-Pacific region.
 
Outotec aims to increase its annual services sales to €500 million by 2015.
