Finland-based stainless steel producer Outokumpu has announced that it will collaborate with Norwegian steel producer Nordic Steel for sustainable steel.
With the partnership, Nordic Steel will be the first company to introduce sustainable stainless steel technology to its customers in the country. Nordic Steel serves a wide variety of sectors including renewable energy, oil and gas, aquaculture and maritime, HVAC, transport and infrastructure, construction and defense.
Circle Green, a stainless steel developed by Outokumpu, provides up to 92 percent lower carbon footprint than the industry average. That is why it is one of a kind in the world.
