OMK’s Vyksa sees 22.2 percent increase in June pipe output

The Russian steel and pipe producer United Metallurgical Company (OMK) has announced that in June this year its Novgorod-based pipe producer Vyksa Steel Works (Vyksa) saw a 22.2 percent growth in its steel pipe production to 151,200 mt, including 96,800 mt of large diameter steel pipes - up 20.4 percent, both compared to the same period last year.

Meanwhile, in January-June, Vyksa increased its steel pipe output by 33.2 percent year on year to 972,400 mt, with its large diameter steel pipe production amounting to 629,100 mt - up 35.7 percent compared to January-June 2009.
