OMK’s foundry-rolling complex increases HR flat steel output in Jan-Nov

Russian pipe producing company United Metallurgical Company (OMK) has stated that in November of the current year its foundry-rolling complex produced 85,000 mt of hot rolled flat steel, most consisting of hot rolled coil (HRC) but also including 14,000 mt of steel sheets and 27,000 mt of steel strips. In November this year, the foundry-rolling complex of OMK shipped a total of 74,000 mt of steel products.
 
In the January-November period of the current year, the OMK complex produced more than one million mt of hot rolled flat steel, up six percent compared to the same period last year, mostly including HRC but also including 201,000 mt of steel sheets and 224,000 mt of steel strips. In the given period, the complex shipped 1.02 million mt of hot rolled coil, sheet and strip, up seven percent year on year.
