OMK’s ATZ sees record shipment volume of hollow section pipes in August

The Russian pipe producing company United Metallurgical Company (OMK) has announced that in August this year its Tatarstan-based subsidiary Almetyevsk Pipe Plant (ATZ) has reached a record level of hollow section pipe deliveries, which amounted to 7,004 mt.

ATZ's overall steel pipe shipments in August reached 21,329 mt, while in the first eight months of this year the figure totaled 117,505 mt - up 17.5 percent year on year.
 
In January-August 2010, ATZ produced 113,557 mt of steel pipes - up 21.3 percent year on year, of which 15,469 mt were produced in August.
