OMK issues Jan-Aug output data for foundry and rolling facility

Russian steel and pipe producer OMK has announced that in the first eight months of this year its foundry and rolling facility produced 617,320 mt of hot rolled coils, 135,981 mt of steel sheets, and 71,791 mt of steel strips.

In August, OMK's foundry and rolling facility produced 67,975 mt of hot rolled coils, 13,683 mt of steel sheets, and 13,567 mt of steel strips, while its deliveries of finished steel products amounted to 68,950 mt.

In addition, in August OMK carried out the first scheduled overhaul of the equipment at its foundry and rolling facility, which lasted a week. Such overhauls are to be carried out once a year.
