North American rig counts, week ending March 4

According to the most recent report by Baker Hughes, the weekly US rotary rig count is up eight from last week to 1707. This reflects a year-on-year increase of 311 rigs.

The Canadian rig count is up eight from last week and is now at 625, representing a year-on-year increase of 82 rigs.

The US Offshore rig count is 25, unchanged from last week and down 19 year-over-year.
