The Russian steelmaking company Novolipetsk Steel (NLMK) has stated that it is pushing ahead with its aggressive expansion program that will by 2012 boost its crude steel production capacity by 40 percent to 17.4 million metric tons, will strengthen its vertical integration and will increase its share of high value-added products.
In 2010, NLMK's capital investments will total around $1.8 billion, with next year's investments expected to be probably at about the same level.
