Nippon Steel increases price of tin steel sheet

Japanese steel maker Nippon Steel Corp has recently announced that it decided to increase price of tin steel sheet and tin free steel sheet (TFS). According to new decision of the company, sales price of general cans will be increased by Yen 4'000-9'000 ($36-82) per ton. Price of tin steel sheet will be increased by Yen 6'000 ($54) and the price of TFS will be increased by Yen 9'000 ($82). The prices are stated to be increased due to rising costs.
