Nippon Steel hikes plate prices for Toyota
Japanese steel producer Nippon Steel Corp (NSC), in a move to offset rising raw material costs, announced that it will hike the price of steel plate sold to Toyota. In line with the deal between the two companies, NSC will raise the price of plate sold to Toyota by 10% to Yen 70'000 per ton ($646/t).
