New CRS production facility commissioned in China’s Shandong Province

Shandong Province-based Chinese steel producer Yuanda Steel Science and Technology Co. has commissioned the first phase of its 1.2 million mt capacity cold rolled sheet (CRS) project located in Binzhou, Shandong, as announced by local media sources. With its new production, Yuanda Steel Science and Technology will also start to supply the household appliance and automobile sectors, in addition to the construction sector. Chinese mechanical engineering company China First Heavy Industries (CFHI) has also invested in the project.
 
The first phase of the project consists of a cold rolling production line with an annual output capacity of 1.2 million mt of sheet, as well as a continuous annealing line. A pickling line, a hot dip galvanizing line and two color-coating lines are to be added in the second phase.
