Nanjing Steel’s net profit rises by 58 percent in 2010

Jiangsu Province-based Chinese steelmaker Nanjing Iron and Steel Co. (Nanjing Steel) has issued its financial results for 2010.
 
Accordingly, in 2010 Nanjing Steel's operating revenue rose by 22.91 percent year on year to RMB 30.055 billion ($4.58 billion). At the same time, its net profit amounted to RMB 919 million ($140 million), up 58.06 percent compared with 2009.
 
In 2011, Nanjing Steel targets a total output of 7.08 million mt of crude steel and an aggregate operating revenue of RMB 33.4 billion ($5.08 billion).
