Dazhou Steel Group targets sales revenue of RMB 23 billion in 2012

Sichuan Province-based Chinese steelmaker Dazhou Iron and Steel Group has announced that in 2011 it produced 2.751 million mt of pig iron, 2.9693 million mt of crude steel and 2.9062 million mt of finished steel, respectively up 56.69 percent, 46.56 percent and 44.96 percent as compared to 2010. The steel producer's sales revenue in 2011 amounted to RMB 20.4 billion ($3.22 billion), while it stated that it is targeting a sales revenue of RMB 23 billion ($3.63 billion) in 2012.

At present, Dazhou Steel Group's designed annual output capacity of pig iron is 3 million mt, while its crude steel and finished steel output capacities stand at 3.5 million mt and 3.2 million mt respectively.
