Moldavian Steel Works to resume production in June

Moldavian Metallurgical Works (MMZ), a steelmaker based in the Transnistrian region of Moldova, has announced that it plans to restart production in June this year. MMZ had halted its production in the summer of 2010. The steelmaker has been experiencing problems in obtaining supplies of raw materials.
