Moldavian Steel Works produces 30,142 mt of crude steel in September

In September this year, Moldavian Metallurgical Works (MMZ), a steelmaker based in the Transnistrian region of Moldova, produced 30,142 mt of crude steel, up 2.9 percent month on month.

In the given month, the company produced 31,529 mt of rolled steel, including 18,885 mt of rebar and 12,644 mt of wire rod.

In October this year, the company plans to produce around 40,000 mt of rolled steel products. The material will be shipped to Russia, Ukraine, Moldova and EU countries.
