Moldavian Steel Works to decrease production in October

In October this year, Moldavian Metallurgical Works (MMZ), a steelmaker based in the Transnistrian region of Moldova, plans to decrease its production.

In particular, in October MMZ plans to produce 33,120 mt of crude steel and 32,633 mt of rolled steel - down 53 percent and 60 percent respectively compared to September. The company will also focus on production of rods from high carbon steel grades. The products will be shipped to Russia, Ukraine, Africa, the EU and Latin America.
