MOC: Average finished steel price in China up 0.1 percent

China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC) has announced that during last week (October 29-November 4) the overall average finished steel price in China edged up by 0.1 percent week on week. 

In the given week, average prices of high-speed wire rod, steel channel and rebar in China rose by 0.4 percent, 0.3 percent and 0.2 percent, respectively, week on week.

In the week in question, the average price of coal in China increased by 0.1 percent week on week. In particular, the prices of coking coal and anthracite coal moved up by 0.5 percent and 0.3 percent, respectively, week on week, while prices of thermal coal remained stable.

In the same week, the average price of non-ferrous metals in China edged down by 1.7 percent week on week.
