China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC) has announced that during last week (November 26-December 2) the overall average finished steel price in China declined by 3.2 percent week on week.
In the given week, average prices of high-speed wire rod, rebar and common medium steel plate in China decreased by 3.8 percent, 3.6 percent and 2.7 percent, respectively, week on week.
In the week in question, the average price of coal in China decreased by 0.1 percent week on week. In particular, the price of coking coal increased by 0.1 percent, while the price of thermal coal moved down by 0.2 percent, with the price of anthracite coal remaining stable, week on week.
In the same week, the average price of non-ferrous metals in China edged down by 0.7 percent week on week.
