MOC: Average finished steel price in China down 0.5 percent

China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC) has announced that during last week (November 5-11) the overall average finished steel price in China edged down by 0.5 percent week on week.  

 In the given week, average prices of common steel medium plate, high-speed wire rod and hot rolled steel strip in China decreased by 0.7 percent, 0.5 percent and 0.5 percent, respectively, week on week. 

 In the week in question, the average price of coal in China increased by 0.3 percent week on week. In particular, the prices of coking coal, thermal coal and anthracite coal moved up by 0.4 percent, 0.3 percent and 0.1 percent, respectively, week on week.

In the same week, the average price of non-ferrous metals in China edged up by 0.4 percent week on week.
