Moldavian Metallurgical Works (MMZ), a steelmaker based in the Transnistrian region of Moldova, has announced that it has temporarily halted production of crude steel, though its production of rolled steel products is continuing.
From August 1 to August 13 inclusive, MMZ produced 12,700 mt of rolled steel products and 7,800 mt of crude steel.
