Russian steelmaker Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works (MMK) has announced plans to launch two new high-capacity hot-dip galvanizing lines in July this year. One of the facilities will have an annual output capacity of 450,000 mt, while the other will have a capacity of 250,000 mt. The new units will produce rolled metal with a thickness range of 0.3-3.0 mm. Accordingly, MMK's flat steel facilities will see an increase of 700,000 mt in annual output capacity.
