Michigan steelworker killed in crushing accident

An employee of Buena Vista Township, Michigan-based Peerless Steel died late Monday when a coil of steel crushed him, authorities said.

The Buena Vista Fire Department reported that there was nothing they could do at the scene, where they pronounced the man dead.

Further details, such as the victim’s name, were not immediately released.
