Mexican manganese and ferroalloys producer Minera Autlan expects increased EBITDA in Q4, the company said this week in a filing at the country’s stock exchange, Bolsa Mexicana de Valores (BMV).

According to Minera Autlan’s estimates, EBITDA in Q4 should “at least” double when compared to Q4 2015.

Minera Autlan also expects net revenues in Q4 to rise “at least” 20 percent, year-on-year. In Q4 2015, the company reported net sales of MXN 877.7 million ($40.7 million).

The company said Q4 was characterized by an “important recovery” of international prices for manganese, which was originated by a “structural situation of higher demand over supply,” resulting in low supplies worldwide. “As a result, ferroalloy manganese prices rose significantly.”
