Mexican steelmaker Industrias CH (ICH) was fined by the local securities regulator, CNBV, MXN 2.96 million ($158,478) in November, according a Reuters media report on Monday.

Citing government data Reuters said the fine was a result of ICH’s “prohibited trades” under a law preventing price or volume simulations or “trading with itself,” the media report said.

Besides ICH, a company’s executives, including investor relations manager Jose Luis Tinajero, and Simec, a ICH’s subsidiary, were also fined.
