Mexico's EXA Industrial will invest $56 million to manufacture more trailers

The Mexican company EXA Industrial announced that it will invest $56 million to expand its production capacity at its plant in the northern state of Coahuila, the local government reported in a live broadcast on Facebook.

The announcement was made by the governor of Coahuila, Miguel Riquelme, accompanied by the founder of the company Enrique Martinez Cassani.

The company manufactures several types of trailers and according to Cassani, exports trailers to its USMCA partners, as well as Central America and Africa.

Details of the increase in production capacity for steel trailers were not disclosed. However, the number of workers will increase by more than 60 percent. The company currently employs 430 workers and with the expansion of the plant the payroll will be 700 people.
