Mexico files for WTO consultations against US cases on OCTG

Mexico claims that the US authorities have failed to administer the related rules and laws in a uniform, impartial and reasonable manner, and have kept the related anti-dumping in force longer than required in respect of their four cases regarding Mexican oil country tubular goods (OCTG) imports. In consequence of such complaints, Mexico has filed its request to the WTO to appoint a dispute settlement panel to carry out consultations. The related cases are March 2001 and July 2001 sunset reviews, July 2001 decisions for continuance of anti-dumping duties and March 2001 results of administrative review for the aforesaid product from Mexico.
