Mexico’s economy secretariat, SE, has imposed countervailing duties (CVD) on the imports of Chinese steel chains with welded links for five years, it said this week. The CVD was effective as of July 18, 2019.

Chinese exporters and producers will pay a $0.50 per kilogram or a $500/mt definite countervailing duty (CVD) on the exports of the product to Mexico.

The products subject to the CVD fall under the HTS code 7315.82.02.
