Mexican industrial output down in November

Mexican industrial production in November declined 1.6 percent, year-on-year, the country’s statistics agency, Inegi, said on Thursday. On a month-on-month basis, the country’s industrial output fell 0.1 percent in November.

Industrial output at the mining and civil construction sectors dropped 8.5 and 5.2 percent, year-on-year, in November. On the other hand, industrial production at the local manufacturing sector rose 2.2 percent, year-on-year.

Industrial production in November in the mining and manufacturing industries rose 0.1 and 0.6 percent, respectively, month-on-month.

Industrial output at the local civil construction sector in November decreased 1.2 percent, month-on-month.
