Malaysia has extended the time period for the antidumping (AD) duty investigation regarding rebar imports from China and South Korea by an additional thirty days from January 1, 2015 until January 30, 2015, as announced by the country's official gazette on Monday, December 29.

As SteelOrbis previously reported, Malaysia initiated the AD duty investigation in question on September 2, 2014, following a petition filed by domestic steel producer Ann Joo Steel Berhad.
