Hunan Province-based Chinese steelmaker LY Steel, whose X80 grade pipeline steel obtained a Special Equipment Manufacturing License from China's General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine in March this year, is currently carrying out test production on three types of casing pipe steel, with samples being delivered to customers. The company's R&D department is making any necessary adjustments based on the feedback received from customers.

After all adjustments have been completed, LY Steel's casing pipe steel is expected to start mass production in October this year as scheduled, with the annual output volume eventually reaching over 0.2 million mt.
